During the two-hour workshop, we will talk about the latest trends when it comes to the methodology of researching political communication with the help of eye tracker, as well as the most frequently tested dependent and independent variables used in this type of research, with special emphasis on images and videos. Guided by practical examples, the difficulties and challenges encountered during the research with the help of an eye tracker will also be discussed.
The lecturer at the workshop will be dr Franziska Marquart from the University of Amsterdam, Department of Communication Research.
The workshop will take place on January 11th 2021, starting at 3pm via online platform Zoom.
