This report provides, for the first time, insight into the gender structure of property ownership in Montenegro based on administrative data. Data collection is not based on a sample but rather on the entire population of all built structures in Montenegrin municipalities that are recorded in the Cadastre. In total, from the population of owners, just over 12,000 unique names were collected, classified by gender.
